im not very confident about trying my self was thinking about it. but got abit paranoid i would mess it up got all the tools tho.

it takes a little while but it's straight forward if you know what you're doing + have the tools. Here's this guy doing a 106, which is more or less the same engine anyway.

cheers for that vid mate do i have to get the head skimmed or is that only when the hg has actually gone if that makes sense.

Its best to get a skim when hg is changed, as it cleans up the face of the head!

always skim, you want all that crap removed, otherwise you may get an early HG failure again
