vts mk2 driveshaft o/s

   On a mk2 2002 model are the driveshafts tappered? as I've noticed the gator as come apart behind the wheel, also got a strange rattling noise I assume it's coming from the shaft can anyone advise.

   2002 will be tapered, check out J&R driveshafts. Cheap and good quality.
   
   Drive a few circles on full lock, if your driveshaft is knackered you'll hear a knocking. With the gator gone it'll be dry or getting dry so it won't be long.

   Can't understand what the rattling is, shaft needs changing got grease all over steering arm ect

   A knackered top mount bearing will cause rattle, mine were shocking.
