Keeping the arial down

   Hi while unscrewing my old arial the whole thing come off including the housing, all of the glue from before was rotten and has also taken a bit of paint off, what would be the best thing to glue it down with again? Is superglue or araldite ok?

   nah, use some silicone glue otherwise you'll end up with leaks.. superglue is too hard when dry and will break off

   I found this out the hard way mine is still stuck down but superglue drips and lines near it next time I clean it im gonna get the polisher on there with a cutting compound.

   Bit of tech 7 or tiger seal will work

   I thought the aerial was bolted down from behind the interior light?

   Mine just come off from what seemed like thick glue \ sealant. Didnt see any bolts at all or any kind of thread either
