What to do

   Ive been tinkering with bits to do to my 1.1 desire. Its my first car so I really want to do things to it as im sure most people did with their first. So far I have stuck a tad of sticker bomb vinyl wrap on the dash, bought a black petrol cap, animal vinyls down the side and most recently t cut the badges. Plans are to paint the grill and dewiper the back.
   Is there anything else that I could do to make it look cool and to pass a bit of time? I would love to lower it but it is more expensive than I would like to pay on a car that I spent £400 on.
   Also are there any small performance upgrades that I could fit?

   Isnt expensive to lower, you can just buy springs and not really worry about shocks so £60. Spray the rocker cover, calipers and drums if you want just a general clean up and will look 10x better

   Is lowering with springs something I could do at home? Im a complete noob when it comes to car modifying

   Fitting springs is simple if you have a bit of know how a selection of tools and spring compressors. If not best to get someone else to, especially with torsion bars..

   Before you go into modding is there anything which needs done mechanically to your motor? Has it been serviced? Is the cam belt due?

   Im going to take it in when i get paid and address a couple of issues i have with it, and see which i could do myself and which i will need to shell out for.
