Dash lights!

1. user_59563 L-plater Joined: Jun 2012 Posts: 45 Saxo 1LTR and Saxo VTR 1.6LTR.

   I've recently noticed that my dash lights up and stereo goes dim when I apply the footbrake, also the actual switch for the dash lights on the indicator stem doesn't work now. Any ideas anyone?
   I heard it could be to do with the bulbs in the tail lights, but I don't know.
   Lol one thing after another!

   Have you replaced a rear light bulb recently? You could have replaced a double filament bulb with a single filament, causing two lighting circuits to operate instead of just the brake.
