Important! : HELP! brake rebuild cant get piston back in?

    I've put my bore seal in, and it doesn't look like it sits completely flush in either caliper.
    not sure if this is what's stopping it or not, but I cannot get my piston back in at all. It gets to about level with the bore seal and then just doesnt move.
    is it supposed to be a seriously tight fit, and i'm just being a pussy...
    or is something wrong here?
    It's all lubed up with brake fluid, it just wont go on

    Get a g clamp on it (use an old brake pad or thickish bit of wood etc do you don't damage the piston or end up forcing it in at an angle). I'm presuming you don't have a brake rewind kit?

    Sometimes they can take some persuasion.

    Put a tiny but brake fluid on the seal as the rubber will grip if no lubed up.
