Drivers door lock.

   My drivers door lock is really stiff and hard to unlock, but my passengers and boots is fine, if there anyway to make it easier to unlock or would I be able to swap the passage door lock and drivers door lock over? Thanks

   You can squirt a bit WD in it, Or you can remove the barrel and soak it in some kind of oil or releasing agent.

   Ok mate cheers, how do you go about getting the lock out?? And the clip thing that is ment to close over when there is no key in does not close anymore?

   Probably got a bit grit in, WD should help.
   
   To remove the barrel I think it's door card off, remove a u clip round the barrel and it should pop out.

   The driver lock on my vts is the same,its getting really bad of late so I'll need to do something very soon.

   Better to use graphite powder made for locks , rather than WD40 (IMHO)

   Noticed today that on my passenger door aswell and my drivers door the nuts holding the door arm in have gone, this is making the doors stiff and make a horrible noise, any solutions?? And would it just be the nuts and bolts that have gone or will I need a whole new mechanism??

   Get some spray grease and spray the check straps,usually when the check straps fail you buy a complete new unit,eBay £22.00 roughly.the bolts you buy separately from Citroen.

    It's a door card off job but only takes a few minutes. Took me longer to take off the door card and refit it.
