Saxo Alarm keeps going off after HIDs fitted.

    Me and my friend have fitted some HIDs to my 1.4 saxo. We tried to test it out but as soon as we reconnect the battery the alarm goes off... Newb as cars so it's probably something obvious ...

    Recheck your wires mate,did the lights come with a wiring diagram?

    The alarm may just reset. It may go off just because it detects a power supply when you attach the battery. Try dearming it with the fob when it's sounding.

    Well we bought a HID kit thinking it would be okay for us. We think we have fitted it correctly but we keep getting the alarm. Also we have 2 grounding wires but we also have (we think) red positive cable but it's covered in black plastic. This has thrown us as this bit ...

    Just tried again. Have taken the HID wiring out and now but everything back to normal. Still getting alarm...
