Front Saxo Mk1 Grill, what ?

    Theres something that really confuses me; the front grill here



    now look at the second grill Mk1 >



    it seems so different from other saxo's mk1 grills; it's way taller and rectangular ? am i right? what year is this one, is it modified? and can anyone clarify this to me, thanks in advance

    They are 2 different grilles. The top one is the earlier models of the mk1 I believe

    i noticed most of the Mk1 models have the second grill from 1996-1999, i am really confused... thanks for your reply Brendan

    96/7 is top 98/99 is bottom. The early grille looks better imo

    but i can swear most of the saxos in 96/97 have the bottom grill, they should've changed it cause of fracture/bumps??? ;

    How odd, i've not noticed that before. I think my 97 saxo has the first type. I debarred and meshed it :-)

    today; a saxo Mk1 1997 passed by me with the bottom grill; is that me illusinating? vit was so clear that it had the round grill, but why

    I like to confuse people because I have both grills,the latter type I meshed and tbh it looks better to me.i change them over every so often.
