Alarm problem.

Citroen saxo vts 1.6 2003 model.

I am having problems with my alarm going off at night. Seems to be effected by cold. Anyone know how I can change this or adjust to stop setting off for cold in early hours as some people are getting sick of it lol. Any idea what to adjust if anything and to turn what way.

That's defeating the object to actually fixing it or temporary fix. As Its immobilized and if i unplug it then it will mess my alarm and mobilizer system up as it did it before and had to have it re program

Probably the sensors inside the car need switching off,or water is getting into the alarm wires causing a voltage drop which will trigger the alarm.

Is their a way to test the sensors inside the car as these are mounted on the side of each door at the top and where the rest of them are I have no idea lol.

Alarms and sensors are not my strong point. Still learning about the saxo's lol

I believe you can disable them, but as I have not got a standard Saxo alarm installed I can't help I'm afraid.

You can disable them with the button near the steering column, so only the door sensors work & immobiliser. I used to do this quite regularly until I got an aftermarket alarm fitted.

Have done this but unsure if its working as after a while the light goes out on it. is the light meant to stay solid red untill you next unlock.

Also what after market one did you go for?
