What is an external wastegate

    Hi guys I've bought a 2nd hand comete turbo kit, I'm going to be fitting soon, should have started but was busy with other things... I've just been looking at it, and I have an external wastegate, can some please explain why it is as I don't have much idea and does it make any type of noise???

    That's a dump valve lol.. Wastegates don't make that noise


    It's a pressure relief valve that controls the boost of your turbo

    I don't mean to be harsh but if you don't no what a waste gate is you probably don't have the knowledge to turbo your saxo but good look to you!
