same as removing an 8v engine, uses the searches

Same as any engine really. Disconnect all wiring and hoses. Undo the engine mounts and lift out.

Put a pallet under the car drop the engine onto that, lift the car up and drag the pallet out.

Heard a lot of people bring this method up to me and as I haven't got a engine crane sounds tempting and may save me the cost of renting 1 lol.

I chose to unbolt front slam panel and remove radiator to ease access, then engine crane to lift it over the lower cross member.

Make sure all connectors are disconnected including gearbox earth before removal.

Remove rad and slam panel, disconect everything where it joins the car, drop engine onto the floor using a trolley jack then jack car up and slide engine and box out.

Now that sounds like a plan will just take the weight of the engine with trolley jack and lower it down. Saves renting an engine crane lol.
