Foam or mesh panel filter?

    May have been asked before but carn't seem to find anything.
    What lets more air through mesh filter(k&n) or foam filter(pipercoss).

    IMHO, much of a muchness. Are both washable ,I know the Kool & Noisy is)

    Be careful with the foam filters as if you oil them up to much can cause running issues
