Is there a difference in what fuel pump to use

   I just changed fuel pump in my vts but its was a little different in size but still went in but once i started the car once i was finished i went for a drive and i noticed as soon as i went to accelerate harder i got grumbling wasnt goin anywer losing power trys to cut out has done sometimes difficult to get up steep hills so i pop open the bonnet to hav a listen and to me it snds like its takin in to much air even when idle could i have put the wrong pump in the air intake was fine no problems before i changed the pump

   Did you check serial numbers if there were any present on the pump between old & new? What car did you remove the pump from?

   I put a pump out of a 1.1 in my old vtr. Had the same part number never had a problem with it.
