Hi been looking over my saxo 1.1 desire engine bay and noticed a plastic tube on inlet just open to air must have been a pipe on it surely?
I have fitted an induction kit recently but even the standard air filter element nothing was connected to this tube I know it wasn't.
The car has been driving ok just had abit of an idle issue where it would hunt abit, I have put a rubber pipe with a bolt in it and blocked of the plastic tube and now the car seems to idle more stable.
Surely it would have been sucking a lot of air into that tube would have thought car would have been behaving dodgy?
