Help this ain't good

    On my way to MOT and the car randomly wouldn't go into gear, tired pumping clutch etc nothing, turn car off put into gear and start it the car drives by itself with foot completely down on clutch as if I'm on the biting point, only way I can get it in gear is by matching revs etc and changing without clutch, getting it out of gear is a no go also, any ideas? Clutch not slipping etc or no noises when clutch pedal is pressed??

    Possibly a snapped clutch cable.

    as above, how does the pedal feel - floppy?
    Could be a stuck clutch or buggered release bearing/clutch plate/clutch cover anything really. All the latter 3 will need the box off

    Cable is fine, still tight and moves the arm on the gearbox no worrys at all strange how when clutch pedal is fully pressed the car still drives
