coil pack test(iffy results)

   I'm away for the week and before I went the saxo broke down,I suspect the coil pack has failed but I couldn't test the pack as my multimeter went walk abouts.
   
   So a mate sent his one up to my bit so I just got the missus to test it over the phone.....now the pipes coming from number 1&4 cylinders are hot so I was expecting good results for the coil that feeds them and shit results for the one that feeds 2&3 as they are stone cold but all the results were shit.....
   
   I talked her through it so I'm assuming she did it correctly and the readings were 0.0 for them all.....
   
   Wtf is that all about,done at room temp so roughly 20 odd degrees.

   I've went and bought a replacement coil pack anyway so here's hoping it's fecked.......
   
   I hope it really is as my A3 bill is going to be roughly £700......and I've spent about £375 on parts already on it so i'm a bit gutted tbh.
   
   And I've spent about £300 on the saxo in the last three weeks........felling a bit scunnered

   Has no one had any experience with testing the coil pack?
