Standard air box with k & n panel filter, I don't rate these induction kits at all to be honest

As above, k&n will give you better results.

    Panel filter or enclosed induction.

Leave an open induction filter in your bay and you're more likely to lose power than gain it from sucking in all that hot engine bay air.

ive just got a k&n panel filter for my vtr mate im fitting it tomorrow. i looked round on forums and a lot of people say panel filters are just as good as enclosed ones.

As krisB says cold air is better than hot air from the engine bay.

im going to put a 2nd cold air feed to where the resonator was so it gets that bit extra cold air.

This is the best induction kit for the VTS,although i never see one for sale in England, you may be able to adapt it to a VTR using a reduced and smaller pipe.
