Cooling system problem.

    Hi peeps.

About two weeks ago I had the head gasket replaced the car has been running fine.yesterday morning I checked all the fluids and topped up the coolant, after taking it for a run of 15 miles got home switched off and water spurted out of the filler tube outlet next to the rad.the car isn't overheating and warm air is coming out of the vents.

    Any ideas,thanks in advance?

Only reason I can think of, is if you overfilled the water?

I agree, sounds like it's been over filled, all your temps right when running?

Did you remove the radiator filler cap?
If so, that's normal and highly dangerous.

The liquid in your cooling system is kept as a liquid only the pressure keeping in when release the filling cap it will explosively boil and come out

Yesterday after the water came out of the overflow I bled it,took it for a run today and the temp stayed normal and heaters blew hot air.got home went out and checked and no water had overflowed, but will keep an eye on it seems like I overfilled it and there was no room for expansion hence the water escaping.

    Cheers for the help guys.
