rear end knocking

   Hi, I have the saxo 1.1 and the problem I have is, there is knocking on the rear near side. I have had it in the garage and he as checked the wheel bearings and ball joints and could not find anything wrong. so for now I am stuck with this problem.
   Please as anyone had the same trouble and what was it.
