Need help,

   I recently damaged the front of my saxo desire 1.1, I went to the scrappy to get a new bonnet and he gave me one from a VTR along with a crossmember and told me they would fit, got home and put them on my saxo put the headlights on and I now have a gap around the light about 2cm more than I should and the bonnet doesn't sit flush like it should, I'm guessing the VTR is slightly different shape, was just asking if anyone else knew if this is right? Or did the scrappy bs me?

   A VTR bonnet it exactly the same shape, it's more than likely that the front on hit has done a bit more damage than to just the bonnet and for that reason mis-shaped some of the other body panels, giving you the gap. Get some pictures up it will be easy to tell.

   As above you may have put the geometry of the car out.

   theres a fair bit of movement can be adjusted from the slam panel and bonnet bolts to get it sitting right..but sounds like you may have bent the inner wing/chassis leg slightly pushing it out of line

   As said the mk2 bonnets are the same.
   
   I'd bet atleast 50p on there being more damage than just bonnet and bumper.

   Yeahhh I reckon the crash has bowed the wings out slightly, didn't manage to get to the car to get pictures, will try do as soon as possible, any fixes without getting new wings? I got someone with exactly same year and model saxo coming with me so might quickly drop his bonnet on my car to definitely check

    post some pics how it sits first..you may be able to adjust the bonnet and slam to sit right as said
    
    but if not..then its gonna need some more serious work if you want it to be right. and thatll come at a price as it most likely need putting right with a jig or porta press

    Not best picture but you can see the gap gets bigger towards end of Wing, I've played around and moved the slam panel so the lights sit better but it's bearable now until I can get wings sorted
