Clicking / Rattling

   Not for a Saxo, but my mk3 golf... But i'm sure most mechanical issues are transferable...
   
   As i drive, from the right hand side of the car, something sort of clicks or rattles over every little bump in the road.. I don't mean pot hole bumps, like the naturally little lumps in the road that you hardly feel?
   
   I know i need to take the wheel off really and have a look, but just wondering if someone can give me a rough idea before i go looking..
   
   Definitely not the top mount, it sounds to be coming lower..
   
   Maybe anti roll bar or something? Any ideas anyone?
   
   I'm thinking rule out the drive shaft, as it's more random, where if it was something shaft related, it would be repetitive at the rate it was turning wouldn't it?
   
   Any suggestions welcome

   It sounds like top mounts but if your sure it's not then I'd make sure the springs seated correctly in the pan and check your ball joints.

   It has coilovers fitted.. But definitely not the top mount, as i know that sound from the 306.. And it also sounds a lot lower than the top mount.. I'll have a good look one day this week, just wondered if anyone could give me any rough ideas to what it could be

   Had exactly the same as what you described on my vts a while back, it ended up being a bolt for one of the droplinks was loose

   I'll have a gander on wednesday, definitely doesn't sound like a top mount.. If it was that, it would click when i was turning when stationary i would presume..
   
   Hopefully something cheap to fix.

   I have this at the moment on the vts and its slight play in the ARB drop link,I've got one there ready to go on but I haven't got round to it yet.

   Sounds like droplinks to me. Change them 1st as theyre only like £10

    Thing ive found is you cant really check for droplinks the little bastards haha. N dont lie to me youre on all sorts of gear
