bought unlocked ecu to get engine running, is this ok

   bought unlocked ecu because key light flashing and imobiliser on,
   
   so when i plug it in make sure battery disconected and imobiliser disconected and transponder around barrel?

   Iirc just leave immobiliser disconnected ie disconnect before turning ignition key(I maybe wrong)

   thanks mate , leave unit around ignition switch connected?

   ok then, found the imob box right at the back, there is an alarm on the car too which was velcro'd next to the fuse box, with one two plug sockets, one being used and one being capped off, do i disconect this aswell or just literally only disconect imob box
