Important! : Saxo VTR wont rev past 5k RPM???

   As above my saxo vtr is like hitting soft limiter at 5k rpm.
   
   I have changed throttle sensors, water temp sensors, removed exhaust etc and none off this has worked.
   
   If driving along normally its driving perfect, idle is perfect. But when i try rev it out its like hitting a soft limiter at 5k, keeps bouncing between 5k & 4.5k.
   
   Any help greatly appreciated as i am in rush to get this car finished.

   Coilpack or spark plugs?

   New spark plugs fitted and swapped over a coilpack. Still doing the same

   Had a similar isssue on my derv 306, turned out to be tps.

   Didn't get chance to get video off problem yet, I've now change the head from another vtr onto mine, and it still won't rev passed 5k. Just a guess but would crank sensor possibly cause this? Or if it was crank sensor would it not start at all?

   the crank sensor on the saxo is its only ignition and injection pickup, if it was breaking down or starting to fail then it would run like a heap of shit...
   
   back to basics,
   have you changed the fuel filter?
   have you tried another set of injectors?
   lambda?
   map sensor?
   
   have you looked at live data to see whats happening with the engine? by the sounds of it, the ecu is either getting the wrong signal from somewhere or the fuel quantity cant cope, as in its asking for x amount of fuel but the injectors can only flow y... (blockage rather than injectors are too small...)
