replacing fuel rail...

right have replacements to swap out with so , checked Haynes but sounds more complicated than it is...

so what I can see all I really need to do is remove coil pack, and undo the two bolts holding fuel rail in place?

or do I actually need to remove accelerator cable? and how easy is that cant really see with coil pack in way at mo as I will be doing all this tommorrow

Need to remove coil pack, then its a series of screws where its attached to the inlet. Theres one on the middle of the inlet that is a bit of an arse to get to but once they are off it just pulls out. Be sure to rap a rag round it to catch the fuel that comes out.

what about the bracket in the middle it seems to be covering the rail? or do you slot it in behind and its fine

I took the bracket off but you dont have to. Its fiddly but if you wrestle with it enough it will come out. Just take care with the wires

Ouch, how much did he charge? Not trying to sound like a dick here but it's seriously a few bolts other than the throttle
Cable to unhook then just pull

Needed a rachet with a swivel to be able to get to middle bolt, and as car was in bits couldn't go get one. Was only 25 quid so wasn't to bad to get me out the shit

You was robbed it literally took me 5 mins to take the rail off to send to you and I only used a normal 10mm spanner.
