#2You can get a sleeve for it i think, that kind of blanks off the sensor, then it's just a case of fastening it somewhere out of the way.. Have a search for lambda blanking or something, should find a guide or something
-
#3cheers mate what happens if i leave it out all together
-
#4ecu throws a fault code.
-
#5Kamracing sell a sleeve.
-
#6will the sleve make the light go off?
-
#7sleeve*
-
#9Any ideas where guna buy the sleve off kam racing it only £10
-
#10Underneath the battery tray maybe(if enough cable)
-
#11its not that long the cable i dont think
-
#12It is that long, you can relocate it, you need to follow it back under the exhaust heatshield up and up the back of the gearbox. I put mine in a lambda sleeve from Kam behind the passenger headlight to get fresh air.
Most of the time it behaved but you could still get the EML on every month or so. Quick reset with OBD and you're laughing. -
#13Why does it need to be somewhere that has airflow? If the sensor is inside a sealed metal sleeve it's hardly going to care.
Mine has been cable tied to the metal bracket under the car (where the loom plug is) for years - it's absolutely fine. -

I've got a cold air feed to my seat belt pre-tensioners, extra +20bhp y01 user thanked this post: -
#15Mines sleeved and i cant even remember where it is 4 years after moving it... Never had the ECU light come on for it though.
