    Lads,

Looking for some advice on improving my handling and current set up for the track. Feel I can't fully commit into high speed corners without the back end hanging right out sometimes uncontrollably!
Running spax adustables, uprated coilover front springs, upper strut brace, standard torsion bars, lowered 50mm 15% lower at front, Donlop DZ03G's (pressures to suit conditions), 14" VTR alloys everything else stanadard VTS.
Car is on the light side poly Windows and one seat that's it, what's my next step and do these little cars handle better with softer dampening rear and at harder front?

    CHEERS.

I had this problem with my astra vxr.

Bought an adjustable rear anti roll bar, and got it to the right setting. Was skittish on the standard setting so had to put it into the track setting, then it was on rails.

Also, police with the V70 back ibn the day would put a bag on sand or two in the boot, not good for weight saving though!

    what tires and tire pressures?

This I've found makes the most difference.

Can any of the track boys please tell me if up-rating the rear ARB dials out over steer on a saxo and if worth doing what's all the details I need to know?

    Tyres are Dunlop DZ03G'S semi-slicks/26psi*

    CHEERS.

    Too low.

Crap dampers and too stiff up front to balance the rear.

Stiffer arb at rear will increase oversteer same with spring rates. You say you have adjustable spax. Soften the rear but only do a little at a time. If it needs it stiffen up the front. I run 400lb up front and 23mm bars at the back. 21mm front arb i think, and 24mm rear arb, now going to 450lb upfront with 19mm arb. You basically have to keep adjusting everything you can little at a time until you can fully control the car! Good luck

Remember it not always how stiff you are.. It about balance.

You can do too stiff still want the suspension to work for you, and remember the weight of these car also.

Something doesn't sound right, I was on standard dampers until my last track day, unknown front springs and you can read exactly what the car is going to do. If it's stepping out on high speed corners something is wrong

Have you not lowered the back,

Car us too low, and you have the front lower than the back

As welshpug said. Its too low and too soft. You are most likely sitting on the bumpstops round corners making the car skittish. First raise the car up. Balance the front and rear ride height then see how it handles.
Only change one thing at a time otherwise you will not be able to understand what is happening.

Remember to account for the fact that we're utterly awesome.

i seem to remember mine being very predictable too, it would only oversteer if i let off the throttle mid corner.

back end sounds like it may be a little to low, but nobody could really say whats best as everyone drives different.
adjust the front coilover height and tyre pressures until you find what suits you best, fine tuning does make a decent difference.
