MK1 VTS coolant temp.

  1. #1
I've been driving the VTS for a few weeks now, and I've noticed the coolant temp is a bit odd. When I start the car and drive off, it takes a very long time to heat up to the middle bar, and sometimes it barely passes the white bit at the bottom end of the temperature gauge after 20-30 minutes driving. If I was to leave the car idling at a standstill, it would heat quicker and to the middle line, but then would cool down to the white bit again when I set off.

The car runs great, pulls strong and the oil temperature acts normally.

Any ideas on why the coolant temp is acting oddly?

    Thanks

    Ethan

    Faulty sensor?

Its not acting erratically though, it does the exact same thing every day, could it still be the sensor?
