Dashboard repair

   Alreet.
   My Saxo has got some quite bad scratches in the dashboard above the glovebox and I want rid of them but I don't want to change the dashboard unless I really have to
   Anyone got any ideas or advise

   Is it a saxo?
   
   if so it's probably like an hour job tops to swap a dash
   
   or, a lovely doily or throw should hide the scratches, held in place with a tartan tin of toffees, or mints maybe?

   Only got 1 vw and a Saxo that's in storage which needs work

   If the scratches are on the textured part of the dash then it`s near impossible to repair.Other plastic non textured trim i`ve used a fine grade wet/dry paper.

   Or fit a 106 dashboard and have something with a glovebox?

    You're in gateshead, I'm in Alnwick, I've got a VTS dashboard you can have for free if you want dude, I'll get a pic of it, it's in ok nick.

    That would be fine mate. Not sure when it will be due to working 6 days a week but as soon I can get it I'll let ya know
