#2Welly it some more... Not really a lot else for it. That or a long pry bar if you can find somewhere to wedge it that gives you access to then place it across the back of the disc.
Bear in mind that if you're really having to smash hell out of it with a sledge hammer or something like that, you will want to check your bearings after you're done as they will have taken a beating as well.
Oh, and if you're doing all this, make sure the car is very well supported... -
#3I take it you've managed to get the screws out of it?
If you're replacing the disc, have you tried a big hammer? I find they usually do the trick. -
#4Yeh im using a big hammer as we speak all bolts are out n even tryed a puller n it completely striped the thread on it :/
-
#5you are aware that there are small screw(s) that hold the disc in place...
after that, then just scrape any sh*t from around the center of the disc, heat it up and hit it harder you pussy!!
FFS dont miss... i have seen people miss, hit the brake line and piss fluid everywhere... i couldnt contain myself from laughter... (this is not good whilst your smoking...) -
#6As Jason said, the only other thing is to check the small retaining screws are out as well. If they are it's just a case of more force until it comes off. The retaining screws look something like this (the pic is a civic disc, but it's the same principle)Quote:Yeh im using a big hammer as we speak all bolts are out n even tryed a puller n it completely striped the thread on it :/

#7Yes ive taken them out im not stupid going to work now to get the acetylene
-
#8Lol.
Bigger hammer or get an angle grinder out. And check your balljoints as well as bearings. -
#9Got them of with acetylene n bigger hammer bearings are shagged now tho
-
#10you dont welly it, you shock it off the engineering way.
it wiil be seized arounf the machined faces which have grown together due to rust.
as you have removed the screws, hammer the hub face around the hub nut and between the stud holes. -
#11Yeah you do if your replacing discs, turn 90 degrees welt it, and repeat
