Rattling noise, is it the heat sheild?

   I bought a 2002 saxo 1.6 VTR less than two weeks ago. Very happy with it but when driving there is a rattling noise which I've been told is most likely the heat shield.
   
   It's difficult to describe, sort of a rattle/scraping noise that seems to be heard when first pulling off then gets faster. However once you go above a certain speed (e.g. 40 MPH) you can't notice it).
   
   Any idea's what this might be?

   Mine does the same,but can only hear it with the window down it's the heatshield on mine.

   Mine same, but mines exhaust. Cat hitting bottom of car. Been meaning to fix it.

   heat shield id say. take it off and go for a drive.
