Engine management light help ????

   Hi, i fitted and after market air filter to my 1.1 saxo desire 2003, and it was fine when i fitted it because i was just giving it a small run down the back of my dads garages and it was fine but it was only put back on the road a week ago and it passed the mot and had a full service, i then took the car out for a drive and the engine light came on then it went off, but on the sunday i went back out in it and the light stayed on and has been on ever since.
   
   I don't know if it has anything to do with the air filter i fitted or what but if anybody can help that would be great, thanks.

   You need to get the car plugged into diagnostics machine or buy a reader from ebay,which will give you the fault code/s.
