   Pretty sure a tint on your headlights is illegal as it lowers the light output. (saxo/106 headlights are shit enough as standard!)
   
   If you want the tinted effect, get fly eye coating for them instead.

   Yup unless they come tinted factory installed or are tinted from buying new light set it is not illegal. However is if using wrong strength. Not forgetting insurance it will bump your premium up by around £50 to £90 depending on who you are with as I asked a while back and they wanted an extra £62 so I decided against it.
