Boot motor / lock drilling noise !

   So the boot button sticks in now, and when i lock the doors the boot mechanism makes this ' drilling ' noise.
   
   I'm assuming the lock is clearly fucked.
   
   Is there a replacement boot lock motor I can swap fairly easily ?
   
   If so, does anyone have one knocking about ?

   Its the actuator that needs changing mate,take off the boot trim unbolt it & disengage the control rod,then pull off the plug.

   The noise is the actuator,it could just be that the actuator rod has come off the arm mate.Plus that explains how to replace it,if the lock itself is fecked then you`ll need to get a seperate lock unit with a key.

   Cheers for he help i'll have a look with Gazer on the weekend or something - maybe try and grab one of those parts. The button stays stuck inside now and doesn't turn with the key very well. It feels very crunchy when trying to turn.

   I had this one, I would also suggest unplugging the actuator until you get a replacement. If it does like mine did, a tap on top of the lock is enough to unlock it. Don't worry about the lock it's most likely to be fine, it will be clearer once you take the trim off and see how it's made.
