Saxo vtr spluttering

   Hi I'm fairly new to this can anyone help me?. I've got a 2002 saxo vtr that's spluttering at around 4-6k under hard acceleration. Now the car has a cracked manifold which will be getting sorted this weekend just wondering if the lambda may be getting a false reading and causing this problem also car has done a full tank of fuel in 250 miles does this sound right...

   The crack in the manifold can lead to exhaust gases being sucked back in,this maybe giving the ecu a wrong reading.

   Thanks I though as much just trying to get a few opinions... Last night I took the throttle body and map sensor off and cleaned car seems to run slightly better bit still not right. 🙈
