Messed up wiring

   So I thought the fuse had gone for my electric windows but the fuse is fine but my windows still dont work
   This is what my window switches look like:
   
   Some bone head has had a right hack at it! I think 2 of the connectors touched, it sparked and since then its stopped working but I cant figure out whats up with it!
   Any ideas or other things to check?

   O`h my giddy aunt what a mess,however did that should have at least used insulated connectors.Erm auto electrician time me thinks mate.

   Hmm I think so too :/ I'm off to scrap yard tomorrow so might get the proper plugs that plug into the switch and get an auto electrician to wire it up

   Have you tried turning it off and on again?

   I haven't actually damn it :/ Since they stopped working 2 months ago I've just left my ignition on, shall I try turning off and back on?

   rip all the wires out of another saxo and do it that way.
   
   That looks horrendous. I'd question other electrics on that car lol

   Lol yeah for some reason the headlights have had the same treatment!! And I'm sure there was some other part of it too thats been hacked up!! Where do the wires go to once they go under the carpet? Do they unplug from the other end?
