Gear linkages

   hi guys, i need to replace my top gear linkages, but i have seen on here that ppl can use race one etc, do i have to put the standard ones back on or can i replace with different ones, if so what are my options and which ones can i get and where from?

   I just bought the budget constella ones think they were £20 on ebay

   There solid so no movement through the rubber which standard have. Help tighten up your gear change.
   
   Well worth it in my opinion.
