finally got it running after buying it as a non runner .
had the ecu unlocked, disabled communication with alarm, checking fuses relays wiring, finally found after alot of mechanics having a look, the second wire that connects on the starter motor round the back of the engine which feeds part of the wiring loom has snapped of clean so all looked good till you really got into it.

powersteering not working and brake servo is poor brake assistance.
ive blead the brakes cleaned all the calipers and carriers,

firstly powersteering. no fuses or relays i can see not working? dont seem to have a live coming to the pump at the connection down at the pump. one side is earth mind.

any ideas? thanks for all help with solving the running fault by the way and how can i post some pics up of the car

its running sweet , yes a long time lol. i disconected the plug off the steering pump and checked there is a live and earth going to it and there is so i rekon the pumps packed up. ive got a second hand pump off another saxo so going to fit that on and it can go for mot this week at my work.

also got a bit of a missfire on idle, other than coil pack and checking there is no water getting on to the plugs, h.gasket faults (which all seems ok ) what else to look for because of this missfire im getting.
