I've been trying to improve my gear changing. Stuff that I did:
- replaced rollpin + washer mod (took away almost all left-to-right play)
- replaced gearbox oil (made it somewhat smoother)

Before changing the gear linkages, first and second gear were sometimes hard to get into, rest was okay. Now first and second are pretty much fine but third gear won't sometimes go in on first try. I double and triple checked the length of the linkages before fitting. I actually adjusted them slightly because the two short ones were not exactly the same length (186mm centre to centre). So, what could be the problem? Which linkage affects third (and fourth) gear?
