   I have been having a problem starting the vtr sometimes will fire and run spot on but sumtimes wont start i have unlocked the ecu to see if it would help any ideas ? Thanks

   Then give it a good service including plugs & filters!
   
   Unlocking the ecu only removes the immboliser function, doesn't change its running of the engine!

   Why would unlocking the ecu solve it??? Lol, wat.
   
   Coilpack, spark plugs? Gapped properly also. Start motor?

   I unlocked the ecu because the key kept flashing on the dash so unlocked to see if it was the key everyhings getting power and pump primes everytime but sometimes fires straight away n others it just claws over but no fire

   Leads, coil, crank sensor, cam sensor try that shit.

    Thinking about it I don't think saxos have cam position sensors could be wrong but get crank sensor out and give it a clean.

    Thanks bud just dont that still no joy . A found out if a put pressure on key as in force it in the barrel it will start frist kick without fail untill a have it running a few mins then try start it again it wont untill a take the kay out and put it back in :s
