Important! : What is the difference between a PH1 and PH2 engine block?

   PH1 and PH2 heads are different... What about the blocks?

   On the 1.4 8V there is OP number difference
   OP number for block on the PH2 is: | 0130 Z5 |
   OP number for block on the PH1 is: | 0130 S9 |
   
   That are what Citroen says at least! =)
   How big the difference is, and what, can't cant see at first glance on the pictures. hope this helps...

   So there are no physical differences, but they have different codes stamped/plated onto them?

   physical differences are the oil filter between the ph1,2 and the ph3... also the thermostat housing as the ph1 coil is mounted on the thermostat ph2,3 are a coil bar
