Important! : Need to find part-remote central locking

    Where to start!
    I have a Mk1 vtr S reg, when I bought the car a while ago it had no key fob but I was told u can go to the citroen garage and get a replacement, so after a cuple months of havin to start the car by tricking the central locking, by locking it from the inside waiting a few seconds and unlocking it again, the car thinks I have used the key fob and will let me turn the car over....
    So I went to the saxo garage and the part that I need isnt even available anymore!!

    Anyone know where to get one... or any other ideas?
    The part description: Transmitter + Receiver
    Infra-red, with 2 Transmitters
    6552 LH NFP

    Na thats the key fob, not the transmitter and reciever. Cheers tho

    Key fob is the transmitter! Look next to the sunroof winder and map light to see the receiver on a mk1 IR based system.

    IIRC you can reset a new (or used one) to match the car!

    What so all I have to do is buy a mk1 fob/transmitter, then get them to sync it?

    You can sync it your self - you can find guides on google!
