  1. #1
I've my car about a month now and for the first time, yesterday I turned it on and went to turn off my drive, and noticed it was hard as f*ck to turn the wheel, I turned it off and tried again, at first same thing happened n after a few seconds the power steering came back on...
And the same thing at work today, ive guessed power steering pump....??

Sounds like it,1st thing to do is check the fluid level 2nd thing give the pump casing a tap with a hammer whilst the ignition is on.This is only a temporary fix though.

I would prefer to buy new stuff for any of my motors, condition or color etc, makes me feel a bit better tbh, but I think I will visit a scrapyard for it and a few bits this time,

£30 should buy you a good used pump.

I dunno but if its playing up and I were you, I would just unplug the thing completely until its sorted, could get a bit hairy if your pump stops and starts when you are driving around
