VTS '02 exhaust queries

Firstly, this manifold by Kam-Racing: http://www.kamracing.co.uk/manufactu...d-vts-16v.html, looks like a good piece of kit, reasonably priced - Will I have to by a separate downpipe? If so, will the standard one fit?

Am I right in thinking the VTS has only one cat, as opposed to the VTR which has two? I ask as the above manifold doesn't have a cat, could this cause any issues?

Finally, I'm after a cat-back system, I want to retain the silencers (I believe the VTS has two, but only one on the standard cat-back), which cat-back is recommended?

    Thanks in advance.

    A VTS has 1 CAT
    A VTR has 1 CAT
Mk2 VTR has the CAT in the manifold
Mk2 VTS has the CAT in the exhaust system
So, if you bought the aforementioned manifold, you'd still have your CAT in place
It wouldn't cause issues, as your CAT would still be in place
If TA-Technix make a CAT back system, try that?
If not, I have a piper system, good buy, while super sprint is also a good option, however I doubt you'd get one with 2 silencers

Thank you very much, just need confirmation on downpipe as I know on some manifolds you can have downpipe fitment issues.

no you don't need a down pipe for that, its there in the picture, it will go Manifold/Downpipe (its one whole pipe) - Cat - Middle silencer - Backbox, i don't think any of them came with two silencers and its a small system, hope that helps, but by putting that manifold on it will be louder as the original manifold is restricted where that one is not, but if you keep the cat and silencer in place you probably want notice it with out giving it some
