So some of you may have seen a couple of months back that my electrics were fucked, blowing fuses all the time (indicators/hazards). Well, my Bamp came up today and fixed the problem within literally 5 minutes. Bare in mind this was taken to a very well recommended Auto Electrician who I paid £65 to because he said he fixed the problem, and it obviously wasn't fixed!
Anyway I'll plonk some pictures below to show exactly what was the issue, and maybe if anyone else is having these sort of issues you should check the same as we did today!
You can clearly see the wiring is exposed on the right, but this was covered up by the housing. My guess is the housing was somehow coming loose every time I went over a bump, or hard turn etc. We covered the exposed area with electrical tape so it should be quite cosy now!
In the circled area is where when the housing came loose, the exposed wire would bump up against the metal, causing the wire to short out and blow a fuse. You can see this has happened quite a few times...
