Engine upgrades Thoughts appreciated

    Hello from ireland folks build advice......
    Hello all just registered here after manys a day scrolling through the forums unregistered reading manys an interesting article giving me great knowledge of what lies ahead for my 20vts build it's a 205 gti rally car(currently 1.6gti) as you prob guessed getting fitted with saxo vts plant It would be greatly appreciated if you could give me your thoughts and any tips on problems I may intercept during the build would be greatly appreciated

    now here is what I have been told are the up grades to the diner cars engine I will copy his details this man is claiming a bhp out put of 190bhp or there abouts I know this is prob a huge exaduration givin the said engine work bit would like the input of you guys.....

    Engine: • high lift kent cams • titanium valve springs • port an polished head • port and polished throttle body (gti6) & gti 6 injectors • carbon fibre piper cross intake • short shifter • balanced crank shaft • light weight flywheel & paddle clutch • vtr gear box • 4-2-1 stainless steel manifold • Ashley exhaust system • also had remap

    **as stated this is what the previous owner sent me I would like to know ur thoughts!! Car is a ph1

    190 from a single throttle body! Unlikely!

    That spec is more likely 150-160.

    R Box is too long, an S or 106 rallye would be a better bet!

    Thanks stu Q as stated Tryna gather the info to see were I currently stand and were to go from here next best changes etc also I questioned the gearbox change tho I prob will not use said box I need a nice second gear for the events I do and think the s will be a lot kore suited!
