VTS restricted / VTR limitless ?!?

   hi,
   
   heard that theres only a certain amount of performance mods u can do to a VTS, but with a VTR the mods are near enough limitless.?
   
   any1 else heard this or agree

   sounds like offal. although there may be more performance mods available that are designed for the VTR.
   
   There is only so much you can do to an engine before there is literally nothing left of the original.

   well ye, basically i have been told if i was too spend shite loads moding a saxo engine, get a VTR coz it would be faster/better than a modded VTS because there is more mods to be done on a VTR
   (this not including turbo/supercharge) basically modding and upgrading everything except that

   i disagree, everything you can do to a vtr you can do to a vts and it will be bigger and better

   too much to go into but one of the biggest benefits is the 16v on the VTS. which means already there is better breathing capacity for the engine.

   Its complete bollocks matey. THe VTS already has a big headstart with the extra valves and when you are going the none forced induction route the big gains are at the top end, where airflow makes the difference

   ud have to spend alot more money on a vtr to get the same power than u would modding a vts..
   
   theres more vtr mods, but the vts doesnt need as much.

    no, my mate used to have a RAPID VTR. (as i have sed in other threads, still in progress of getting a list of everything he did) n i asked him y spend over 4k on enginge mods on a VTR when u cud do it to a VTS. he sed, theres a limit to what u can mod on a VTS but more mods and more upgrades avliable for VTR so thats y he chose that.
