So I fitted new driveshaft seals to the gearbox and reconnected the driveshafts to the box and strut. I haven't put the driveshaft hub nut on yet nor have i connected the lower wishbone to the strut.
As I rotate one driveshaft with the car in neutral the opposite also rotates which is fine.
However as soon as I put it into gear and rotate a shaft the opposite shaft also rotates but the resistance is the same as it was when yhe car was in neutral. I took the cam cover off too see if the engine was also rotating and as id suspected when I turn a driveshaft the engine doesnt rotate yet the opposite shaft still does is this correct doesn't seem right to me.
I dont want to connect everything up to find I have no drive? Btw car is a vts mk2.
