speedo and rev counters not working

   Ive had my 2001 vtr 1587 for 2 days now but when I went to start it the speedo and rev counter doesn't work any suggestions? Bit confused

   Could be a bad connection at the back of the clocks. Whip them out and make sure the plugs are in secure. If not you might need replacements.

   Do any of the dials work? Are they frozen?
   
   I had my dials freeze on me, disconnect the battery for an hour, that could fix your problem pal, it's not a recurring problem if this is the fault
