Coolant tank stained

    Coolant level tank is all yellow and stained hard to tell where the level is unless you open it and look to see how full it is anyways to get it nice and clean again?

    It's not the water though it's just the actual plastic but of the tank

    Drain the coolant & drop some dishwasher tablets down the filler neck,followed by a hose.If you have access to a long handled bottle brush then try scrubbing out the tube with that.

    washing powder, rice and shake like mad then clean it all out. If its badly stained it wont ever come back to original condition though
